“Stardom in Kindergarten” Event Celebrates Alta Kids’ Transition

The OH WOW! Center in downtown Youngstown was the setting for Alta’s “Stardom in Kindergarten” event on March 22.

Children who will be graduating from Alta Head Start this year and their families gathered to celebrate their transition from pre-school to kindergarten. Educators and community neighbors were on hand with valuable information to help them prepare for kindergarten in the fall.

Kids got their pictures taken with Catboy and Owlette from PJMasks, and one lucky student won a Stardom in Kindergarten basket of supplies.
